From today’s editorial noting, “State should have control of expansion of offshore drilling sites”:
“…We must (expand offshore drilling) while respecting the rights of states and their residents to have their voices heard,” Runyan said in a statement.
He’s right. While skyrocketing gasoline prices have made offshore drilling more palatable, state residents must have a say.
